Architectural Aluminium Academy: High training & continuous education

ALUMIL is the first private company in Greece to introduce the concept of Academy in the construction industry, through the pioneering initiative of ALUMIL Academy in 2018. Through further education and specialized training programs for new and active aluminium fabricators, the Academy contributed to the expansion of the know-how of fabricators, raising the bar significantly in relation to the potential of the industry and ensuring the high technical qualification of ALUMIL's partners who participated in the training programs. The evolution of this initiative came in the form of the Architectural Aluminium Academy, a new organisation in which ALUMIL is partnering with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the University of Macedonia and two leading technology companies. It is essentially an Innovation and Skills Development Centre for the aluminium sector, which enjoys the continuous support and cooperation of the Panhellenic Federation of Aluminium and Iron Craftsmen (POVAS) and aims to significantly raise the level of education in the sector. At the same time, AAA seeks to move forward in the field of research, producing primary knowledge, with the ambition to help the industry as a whole and in a meaningful way.
